As a traveling entrepreneur and former Google and Salesforce employee, Wilson Lin prides himself on developing four fundamental values for successful business scaling and self-growth: Develop an appetite for learning, take action, improve incrementally and set realistic expectations.
Wilson is driven by numbers and allows creativity to flourish when it comes to positioning innovative products in the market. With a background in UI/UX and product management, his zen-like leadership style intersects at technology, strategy, and digital marketing – with the ROI to back it up.
He founded his first company, OneTinybit, in 2011 with Voy Media cofounder Kevin Urrutia. Just two years later, the pair created an AI-based business networking app, Radii, that won the Techstars Startup Weekend San Francisco hackathon. Wilson’s problem-solving and innovation mindset led to the creation of the Serac hammock in 2015 and the Serenelite stress ball in 2016. Working with Kevin, Wilson also launched a flower delivery company called Madeline Rosa in 2013.
In the past five years of his entrepreneurial journey, Wilson has invested in 10 companies and sold two, including two e-commerce businesses surpassing a revenue of $10million. To help other entrepreneurs and marketers, he and Kevin recently developed the Shopify app Metrics Box and published Digital Marketing Made Easy, a how-to for expert digital marketers in the making. Now he’s on a mission to propel Voy Media’s performance marketing to unimaginable levels.
