Biography
Growing up and embracing New York City’s hustle culture, I’ve been described as a serial entrepreneur with an obsession and a willingness to grow new businesses in emerging markets.
My entrepreneurial adventure began when I created Mondai.me, a knowledge-sharing platform. Wilson Lin and I founded a web development and design firm, OneTinybit, in 2011, and then a flower delivery service called Madeline Rosa. Our work on the Radii business networking app capped off our college careers when it won the Techstars Startup Weekend San Francisco in 2013. Later, my entrepreneurial obsession led me to start the Dogg Subscription Box for fun, followed by a house cleaning service called Maid Sailors, and a luggage company called CHESTER, which now generates more than 7 figures in yearly revenue.
Before I set my sights on e-commerce, I worked for tech companies like Intuit and Zarly amid the biggest tech rush in Silicon Valley. Yet, that wasn’t enough. Inevitably, I sought more opportunities and found my true lifelong passion in e-commerce. Since then, I’ve built brands across multiple industries and earned the title of 4X e-com entrepreneur, generating $50M in revenue a year.
At Voy Media, Wilson and I are only just getting started.
Most recently, we’ve developed the Shopify app Metrics Box and published a guide for aspiring digital marketers called Digital Marketing Made Easy. I’m also the host of the hit marketing podcast Digital Marketing Fastlane.
