The Problem:
Lash Liner was looking for an agency to help them scale with maintaining a high ROAS on Facebook Ads and Google Ads.
Voy Media Strategy:
One of the biggest changes we implemented to scaling the campaign was with fresh creatives.
This originated from testing the new Liner Lash Boom creatives that we paused testing on in March but resumed in April. This test became strong enough to make into a scaling campaign after sufficient data to decide that, resulting in a 36% increase in ROAS vs. the initial scaling campaign’s 2.19 ROAS for April. This is especially important because the initial scaling campaign took up half of the month’s ad spend but contributed to less than half of the month’s revenue, so it’s good that we’ve shifted spending to the higher ROAS scaling campaign.
The best creative in this campaign was a combination of the initial scaling campaign’s best two creatives (Liner/Lash/Boom sequence and the Magnetic Lash Hack) – this ad’s video thumbnail/cover image is the Magnetic Lash Hack image which is followed by an 8-second video of the liner/lash/boom sequence in video form instead of still photo; the text was a big differentiator here, as we tried to talk more like how we see people in the community talking (all caps to emphasize certain phrases, more exclamation points than formal writing usually permits, emojis, “xoxo” at the end):
