The Problem:

Cernucci is a hip-hop jewelry brand with premium jewelry at an affordable price. They came to us to help scale their Snapchat ads and we did just that.

Cernucci had a great product, but trouble scaling with creative testing. 

Voy Media Strategy:

We implemented a lot of creative testing to address what was native on Snapchat’s platform. Our goal was to establish the benefits and value of the product and trust in the brand, all in a clear, coherent way. 

We began testing ads with influencers and user-generated content because these approaches were even more native to the Snapchat platform than when we used them for Facebook/Instagram. Our influencer/UGC ads generated trust because we enlisted credible influencers and customers who were clearly fashion-forward and spoke about the benefits of Cernucci’s products compared to other jewelry brands.

The Results:

  • From May 11, 2020, to August 4, 2020, we spent $96K and earned $825,004 for a ROAS of 8.58.
  • Swipe-Up Rate (or Click-Through Rate): 0.51%
  • CPM: $0.84
  • Cost per Purchase: $11.19
  • Cost per Swipe Up: $0.16

  • 8,598 Purchases
  • ROAS: 8.58 (Target ROAS: 4)

Needless to say, our creative testing worked. We identified the most profitable ads and scaled to the moon.
